Sunday School in Motion Division- In West Hills Sunday School Rotation, creative biblical education takes the drivers seat. Children gather in the atrium, divided into similar age groups, and then guided to their classes by their assigned “shepards.” They rotate though five weeks of cooking/science, drama, music/games, art, and computers, learning the same basic lesson in 5 different ways. Children love this exciting way of learning the Bible.
Rotation Co-Coordinators: Heather Long and Brenda Logan
Children's Worship-This worship time emphasizes loving Christ through prayer and praise while preparing children to participate in the sanctuary worship services. As noted on the bulletin, children can depart from the sanctuary and be guided to their own, custom worship service. Children from 3 years old to the third grade are welcome in this service.
Wednesday Fellowship Dinner - The church joins together for a meal. The time is filled with stories, laughter and community...and leaves the cooking and cleaning to someone else!
Missions Education- The children are divided into 4 year olds - 1st graders, and 2nd - 5th graders. Spark is a wonderful curriculum offered by the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship with focus on meeting the missionary, tasting the food, enjoyng the arts, playing the games, experiencing the culture and using the Bible.
Choir- The children are invited into a world filled with music and praise. They work with each other and teachers to prepare a Christmas and Easter one act production. Their productions are preformed for the church on a Wednesday night.
